About the role

  • Account Executive responsible for driving client acquisition and relationships in a digital payments firm, focusing on e-commerce solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Map e-commerce businesses that are compatible with Pagar.me’s product and features.
  • Prospect e-commerce companies and generate client interest in learning about our product.
  • Diagnose a problem or opportunity in the client’s operation and connect the resolution to Pagar.me’s features.
  • Negotiate and consultatively sell our products, building and delivering the best possible solution to the client.
  • Onboard clients in our system.
  • Manage and follow up with the client throughout the entire sales process until proposal closure.
  • Manage the client portfolio to identify potential service improvements, strengthen relationships and identify sales opportunities.
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell and new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales/commercial area and with Inside Sales.
  • Experience with active prospecting and ability to generate relevant opportunities.
  • Knowledge and application of sales techniques (e.g., SPIN Selling).
  • Results-oriented with a focus on closing deals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage your routine, activities, targets and results.
  • Proactive attitude toward continuous learning and improvement.
  • Resilience to meet targets and solve problems.
  • Intermediate Excel.
