About the role
- Cash Application Analyst driving efficiency in cash application processes for international logistics and transportation provider. Involves transactional AR processes and internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Ensure service excellence by delivering high quality standards of efficiency and quality.
- Perform transactional AR processes, including account analysis, reconciliation, reporting, and resolution of process-related queries.
- Maintain strong internal controls in compliance with Stolt-Nielsen policies, IFRS/GAAP, and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring audit-worthiness of assigned accounts and reports.
- Handle queries from internal and external stakeholders and act as back-up within the team when needed.
- Serve as the process expert for the assigned division, keeping updated on process changes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in cash application and order-to-cash processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or any Finance-related course.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Experience in creating and maintaining customer data, including communicating credit terms to customers.
- Experience in managing collections, customer accounts, credit exposure, invoice disputes, and month-end reporting (e.g., AR aging reports, highlighting overdue payments).
