About the role
- Backend Java Developer modernizing existing Java microservices and migrating to Java 21. Seeking a candidate with proactive learning and good teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Modernizar microservicios Java existentes y migrarlos a Java 21 según lineamientos del cliente.
- Actualizar dependencias y estructura del proyecto (Gradle/Maven).
- Ajustar archivos de configuración (application.yml, rutas de health/check, CORS, properties).
- Adaptar el servicio para ejecución en contenedores y lectura de variables por entorno.
- Depurar configuraciones heredadas de CDP/PCF (manifest, ACCP, properties obsoletas).
- Resolver findings de SonarQube, Fortify, BlackDuck y WebInspect a nivel de código.
- Brindar soporte técnico en troubleshooting funcional durante la migración.
- Documentar cambios, decisiones técnicas y lineamientos de migración.
Requirements
- +5 años de experiencia en desarrollo backend con Java / Spring Boot.
- Experiencia actualizando versiones de Java (ideal experiencia en Java 17/18 → Java 21).
- Conocimiento sólido de APIs REST, microservicios y buenas prácticas 12-factor.
- Experiencia con Gradle o Maven.
- Deseable experiencia en: Integración con BD (DB2, Oracle), Redis (a nivel de aplicación), OAuth2 / Client Credentials Flow.
- Proactivo.
