- Head of Markets EMEA overseeing business growth and governance for State Street’s Markets. Leading initiatives and expansion in the UK, EU, and Middle Eastern Markets across various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Head of State Street Markets
- Work with global business leads to drive business growth in EMEA
- Engage in business strategy, governance, and stakeholder engagement across EMEA
- Accountable for executive oversight of the UK, EU and Middle Eastern Markets businesses
- Lead the expansion of the Middle East franchise and represent the organization
- Shape the region’s Markets agenda and ensure strong governance
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in Global Markets, banking, or financial services leadership
- Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with senior level staff, middle management, and support teams
- Deep working knowledge of EMEA regulatory frameworks and legal entity governance
- Proven track record interacting directly with the regulators
- Proven track record of internal stakeholder management aligned by product & region
- Demonstrable experience of hands-on program management and large-scale change initiatives
- Knowledge of the EMEA regulatory landscapes and impact on governance of global markets products
