About the role

  • Legal or compliance professional handling regulatory changes for Global Human Resources at State Street. Engaging in compliance advisory and managing regulatory obligations across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role with Global Regulatory Change Management for Global Human Resources (GHR)
  • Provide compliance advisory support to first line of defense personnel on business impact assessments for new/changed regulatory obligations and compliance issues
  • Assist with maintaining State Street’s inventory of regulatory obligations for employment/labor laws and regulations on the Archer system
  • Host/participate on periodic regional or country-specific meetings on regulatory changes
  • Help provide guidance on control design, policy and procedures for compliance with regulatory obligations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; legal degree a plus
  • 6+ years of compliance or legal experience
  • Strong Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Sharepoint; Archer or CUBE experience a plus
  • Experience working effectively with remote and geographically dispersed teams
  • Must have full professional proficiency in English; additional languages are highly valued
