Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of healthcare projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, including healthcare providers, regulatory bodies, and internal teams
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure successful execution
Work collaboratively with project leaders, architects, design partners, peers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success metrics
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address challenges proactively
Conduct regular project status meetings and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, quality standards, and best practices
Mentor junior engineers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
Requirements
Experience in project management within the healthcare sector, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex project challenges
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in project management within the healthcare sector
Professional Engineering license is strongly preferred
Fundamental understanding of NFPA 99, ASHRAE 170, and the FGI Guidelines as they specifically apply to Hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, and medical office buildings
Functional knowledge of BIM software Revit
Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record
