About the role

  • Territory Development Manager promoting DEWALT® products and building relationships with customers. Engaging with distributors and end users in agriculture and mining sectors while driving sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and driving distributor/store sales performance.
  • Developing customer relationships and growing market share.
  • Promoting products through demonstrations and instructing both retail customers and end users in their use.
  • Engaging with end users in key sectors such as agriculture and mining to promote products and identify their needs.
  • Identifying in-store incremental merchandising growth opportunities (off-location).
  • Developing stakeholder relationships and collaborating across departments.
  • Conducting distributor and end user training/demos at SBD Field Days, in-store, on end user sites, and at major trade events.
  • Planning weekly and completing daily tasks in Salesforce, ensuring the calendar is up to date and accurate.
  • Maintaining a range of clean and workable power tools, accessories, and materials for demonstrations and training.

Requirements

  • Previous customer engagement experience with a passion for selling and business development.
  • Experience engaging with end users and brand advocacy.
  • Confidence and communication skills to present product initiatives to end users.
  • Ideally, some experience in product training for internal or external parties.
  • The ability and interest to learn the specifications of the hardware industry.
  • Strong planning skills and the ability to work in an autonomous environment.
  • Experience or exposure to the agriculture and/or mining industries would be highly regarded.
  • Most of all, a passion to work with customers and end users in the power tool/hand tool industry.
