About the role

  • Social Media Specialist focusing on editorial management and influencer marketing at Stanley Black & Decker. Engaging with customers and partners to enhance brand visibility in the DACH region.

Responsibilities

  • Editorial management of social media channels: Independently conceptualize, plan, and produce content tailored to specific target audiences across all relevant Stanley Black & Decker brand social media accounts, ensuring alignment with overall brand messaging and objectives.
  • Develop and implement innovative content strategies and storytelling approaches to increase engagement, brand awareness, and follower growth.
  • Proactively monitor social media channels, manage community interactions, and foster positive engagement.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and reporting on the effectiveness of social media initiatives, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) and data-driven insights to optimize future campaigns and content strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — including Digital, Product, and Brand (both local and central) — as well as external agencies, to ensure cohesive brand representation and maximize the impact of social media activities.
  • Influencer marketing & management: Identify, evaluate, and engage with relevant influencers who align with the brand’s values and campaign objectives, leveraging their reach to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
  • Establish and nurture long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with influencers and key opinion leaders, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Strategically develop, coordinate, and oversee influencer collaborations, from initial concept through execution, ensuring deliverables meet brand standards and campaign goals.
  • Continuously assess and measure the effectiveness of influencer partnerships, providing detailed evaluations and recommendations to inform future collaboration strategies.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience managing brand social media channels, ideally in an international environment.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and reliability in all assigned tasks.
  • Independent, structured, and meticulous working style, maintaining attention to detail and efficiency even when operating under tight deadlines or high-pressure situations.
  • Highly proactive with a hands-on mentality: identify opportunities for improvement, take initiative to address challenges, and actively contribute to team objectives.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to implement innovative ideas.
  • Native German speaker and fluent business English skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
