Business Applications Analyst providing support for SS&C developed Desktop applications. Involved in various projects and responsible for tasks associated with project phases.
Responsibilities
Daily support of more than 20 Desktop Applications used in SS&C BPO
Maintain communication between SS&C and remote clients
Maintain communication between SS&C Data Centers & Network Services and all clients
Application version upgrade testing and implementation
PC operating system upgrade testing and implementation
Test and implement new products
Research and review application problems in the SS&C BPO
Research and review application problems at remote sights
Assist Corporate Support Staff with projects
Process setup & modification for BPO clients
Process setup & modification for remote clients
Assist any of the remote clients with the SS&C applications they run
Assist any of the remote clients with Chorus BPM related connectivity issues
Assist Chorus BPM Data Center with projects for internal and remote clients
Requirements
Minimally requires a Master's degree, or Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience, or high school degree and 4 years of related experience
Business knowledge in the Financial Industry some examples would include specifically Alternate Investments, Retail Investments, and Retirement Investments
Analytical
Strong organizational skills
Good command of spoken and written English
Strong communication, writing and presentation skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with both business stakeholders and technical stakeholders at all levels
Ability to work with end users of software (internal to SS&C and external)
Nice to have Knowledge and experience with TA Desktop / TAHub
Knowledge and experience with Chorus BPM design / administration
