About the role
- AEM Solution Architect leading architecture evaluation and providing technical guidance for PA.gov. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize Adobe Experience Manager Cloud platform.
Responsibilities
- Conduct architecture assessment and platform review of AEM Cloud implementation
- Identify risks, over-customization, and optimization opportunities
- Define support models, transition plans, and governance frameworks
- Provide architecture design and technical leadership across AEM (Sites, Assets, Forms)
- Collaborate with product, UX, engineering, and vendor teams
- Establish documentation standards and knowledge transfer processes
- Guide security, performance, code reviews, and best practices
- Support decision-making, risk analysis, and technical strategy
- Oversee vendor performance and future technical scope planning
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of experience in enterprise content management or digital platform architecture
- Strong expertise in: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) – architecture, implementation, and support
- Java, Sling, Dispatcher, and front-end integration
- Enterprise platform assessment and architecture design
- Experience with: Vendor-built systems and transition planning
- Technical documentation, governance, and support models
- Collaboration tools (Confluence, SharePoint, Azure DevOps)
- Strong communication skills for executive and technical audiences.
