About the role

  • Marketing Manager responsible for localizing and implementing Spotify’s marketing strategy in Brazil. Collaborating with teams to craft culturally resonant campaigns for young music fans.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to achieve business objectives, focusing on positioning Spotify at the forefront of youth music culture and expanding our brand in Brazil.
  • Lead the adaptation, creation, and execution of innovative multi-channel marketing campaigns that amplify our brand, content, and partnerships.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of a dynamic social content strategy, using platforms to build community, spark conversations, and increase brand engagement with younger audiences. Identify trends, optimize content for each platform, and collaborate with influencers and creators to extend reach.
  • Work closely with our Music team to ensure all brand-related content is culturally relevant. Develop a deep understanding of the local music community, industry, fans, and sensitivities.
  • Define and strengthen our brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing touchpoints. Develop culturally resonant campaigns and initiatives that reflect our commitment to diversity, music discovery, and audience connection.
  • Build and nurture relationships with creators, creatives, influencers, and relevant stakeholders to expand the platform's reach. Collaborate with internal teams to amplify exclusive content, events, and initiatives.
  • Lead and inspire agencies and external vendors, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability. Ensure high-quality campaign execution that aligns with the brand's vision and strategic objectives.
  • Analyze marketing performance metrics to measure ROI, identify opportunities, and optimize campaigns. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging platforms, and audience behavior to adapt strategies as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in marketing, ideally in the music, entertainment, or content industries.
  • A strong sense of brand identity and creative vision, with the ability to present and advocate for innovative ideas effectively.
  • Proven ability to cultivate strong, reliable, and transparent working relationships at all levels of an organization.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, managing tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and real-time decision-making with ease.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented, with a collaborative mindset to navigate ambiguity and evolving situations effectively.
  • Deep understanding of the music industry, including emerging trends, influential artists, and cultural movements.
  • Experience working in international markets or with culturally diverse teams.
  • A genuine passion for music, along with strong awareness of cultural trends and dynamics.
  • Familiarity with a network of creative collaborators is a valuable asset.

  • Flexibility to work where you’re most productive. There are some in-person meetings, but you’ll still have the flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come in at least 2–3 times per week.
