About the role

  • Key Account Manager handling key accounts and sales at Sport-Thieme. Engaging with clients, generating leads, and developing sales strategies in the sports sector.

Responsibilities

  • You will be in direct contact with our customers: from lead generation and prospecting through proposal preparation to negotiation.
  • In this role you will make a decisive contribution to further strengthening our market position.
  • You will support the Head of Key Accounts Germany in the strategic development of core target groups.
  • In doing so, you help ensure the future viability and sustainable orientation of our sales organization.
  • You design and continuously develop sales strategies and processes, identifying opportunities from digitalization and AI.
  • You will develop into an expert on our product range (don’t worry — you will learn the 19,000 products step by step).
  • You will support analytical topics such as controlling and market analysis.

Requirements

  • A completed degree with a focus on business administration, economics, sports management, or a completed commercial apprenticeship provides your professional foundation.
  • Experience in sales and project management is an advantage.
  • Communication is one of your strengths and you enjoy proactively approaching customers.
  • You are passionate about sport and physical activity and bring that enthusiasm to your daily work.
  • You are prepared for hybrid working. Your role combines remote work and office days (at least 2 per week).
  • Very good German language skills, spoken and written (at least B2).
