About the role

  • Experienced Account Manager responsible for managing existing client relationships and developing new sales opportunities in Mainland China for S&P Global.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to Revenue growth through retention, price increases and Identifying potential new sales opportunities within existing client accounts which includes new product sales and scope expansion
  • Maintaining strong relationships with client organizations, addressing their needs, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This includes timely end-user problem resolution, whether technical, product or content related
  • Form strategic account plan and execute with clear objectives and action plans
  • Demonstrating exceptional skills in listening to clients, articulating ideas and complex information in a clear and structured manner
  • Strong ability to carry out a sales client meeting, including ability to diagnose, design and deliver solutions for our clients in a persuasive manner with strong presentation skills
  • Addressing product related questions from clients by seeking solutions across appropriate internal groups
  • Ability to develop comprehensive recommendations including but not limited to market needs and product feedback in efforts to improve the business
  • Collaborating effectively across teams as well as creating an atmosphere of trust and open communication

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree is a plus
  • At least 5-8 years in a client facing role, preferably in the financial services industry
  • 3 - 5 years track record of direct sales contribution is a plus
  • Excellence in working with multi-parties both internal and external stakeholders
  • Problem solver with strategic thinking, established relationship building skill and project management skill is a plus
  • Fluent in oral and written English and Mandarin.
