About the role

  • Product Manager developing scalable, data-driven financial products for global clients at S&P Global Market Intelligence. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and ensure data integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to help define and execute product vision, strategy, roadmap, success metrics, and prioritization, ensuring alignment with client needs and business objectives.
  • Gather, analyze, and translate client, business, and data requirements into scalable product designs, use cases, user stories, and functional specifications.
  • Develop and validate UX flows and prototypes (e.g., Figma) in alignment with product standards.
  • Lead data-driven product development by analyzing financial datasets and sell-side models; define standardization, normalization, and consensus logic.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, data, UI/UX, QA, and commercial teams to deliver high-quality product enhancements and make informed trade-offs.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and release readiness across data pipelines, backend logic, and front-end workflows.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to validate workflows, incorporate feedback, and communicate product concepts and roadmap updates.
  • Own product documentation and support go-to-market initiatives with clear product, data, and workflow explanations.
  • Drive execution with strong ownership, prioritization, and a continuous-improvement mindset.

Requirements

  • 5 – 10 years of experience in financial product management, data analysis, financial analysis, or a related financial services role.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, capital markets, and data-driven products.
  • Diverse fundamental knowledge with expertise in one or two sectors.
  • Experience with Visible Alpha or similar consensus-based financial intelligence products is highly preferred.
  • Exposure to customer-facing roles and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong product thinking with the ability to define requirements, roadmaps, and successful product outcomes.
  • Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and data quality.
  • Working knowledge of databases and data structures; basic SQL familiarity preferred.
  • Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools.
  • Comfortable working with structured and unstructured financial data.
  • Experience launching new products or delivering major software releases.
  • Ability to evaluate trade-offs, prioritize effectively, and make data-informed decisions.
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive execution.
  • Proven experience partnering with engineering, data, operations, and commercial teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
