  • Prepare release notes and communicate release status to stakeholders and project teams.
  • Monitor deployment health and performance.
  • Perform root cause analysis for deployment failures and implement long-term fixes.
  • Manage Salesforce Shield, Event Monitoring, and backup/recovery strategies (e.g., OwnBackup).
  • Work closely with project teams to resolve build problems and merge conflicts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with at least 3 years dedicated to the Salesforce platform.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-tier environment strategies.
  • Deep understanding of the Salesforce Metadata API, Tooling API, and Change Sets.
  • Expert proficiency with Git (branching, merging, rebasing).
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Node.js.
  • Hands-on experience with specialized Salesforce DevOps tools like Copado, Flosum, Gearset, or AutoRABIT.
  • Mastery of SFDX (Salesforce CLI).
  • Ability to work closely with Admins, Developers, and Stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to identifying bottlenecks in the release process.
  • Precision in managing deployment manifests and configuration changes.
  • Preferred Certifications: Salesforce Certified Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Copado Fundamentals I & II (if applicable).
