About the role
- Middle Market Portfolio Manager supporting Large Corporate and Middle Market loan and deposit portfolios. Analyzing financial information and constructing commercial loan packages for credit approval.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes financial information to evaluate the credit worthiness of new loan requests.
- Completes industry research, as needed, supporting existing and new Customers to the Bank.
- Writes and constructs commercial loan packages ensuring completeness and accuracy of information provided.
- Guides the loan request through the Credit Approval Process.
- Monitors and services the loan portfolios of the supported Relationship Managers through quality portfolio management work.
Requirements
- Education: Four-year degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field; Masters in Business Administration is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in credit analysis, commercial and industrial/Middle Market banking, with at least 5 years of specific Large Corporate portfolio management underwriting experience.
- Familiarity with loan structuring and loan documentation is required.
- Experience working in syndicated loan transactions, private equity owned borrowers, M&A financing and recapitalization transactions is preferred.
- Knowledge in accounting and lending principles, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have an in-depth knowledge of Federal and State lending regulations and Bank policies related to lending procedures.
