About the role

  • Commercial SMB Account Manager driving growth across the SMB customer base for Sophos. Managing inbound opportunities while collaborating with channel partners to deliver support and drive revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a funnel of inbound leads and prioritise responses based on service level agreements.
  • Ensure quotes and other tasks are processed timely, efficiently, and accurately.
  • Understand end-to-end processes across deal flow including roles of cross-functional support teams.
  • Update CRM with conversations, competitive information, decision-making criteria and pertinent information.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with the customer partner to progress on assigned tasks.
  • Achieve agreed quarterly sales goals and performance indicators for daily standards.
  • Effectively communicate with Sophos prospects and customers through various mediums.
  • Add value to the Channel business through best-in-class support and growth mindset.

Requirements

  • Previous Sales experience in the Cyber Security or Tech Industry, ideally within SMB.
  • Experience calling customers for renewals, cross-sell, and up-sell.
  • Experience using CRM systems. Salesforce is preferred.
  • Interpersonal skills: Engages easily and uses effective questioning and active listening.
  • Customer driven: Delivering exceptional customer experience.
  • Empathy: Critical to effectively de-escalate issues and understand desired outcomes.
  • Resourcefulness: Go-getters who go above and beyond to solve problems.
