About the role
- Senior Accounting Analyst managing monthly financial closures and financial statement preparation. Ensuring compliance with Brazilian and international accounting standards for the group companies.
Responsibilities
- Perform the monthly accounting close for the group's companies, ensuring all tasks are completed according to the accounting calendar (reconciliations, provisions, account analyses, etc.)
- Prepare financial statements such as the Balance Sheet, Income Statement (DRE), Cash Flow Statement (DFC), Statement of Changes in Equity (DMPL), and Notes to the Financial Statements, in accordance with Brazilian and international accounting standards (IFRS)
- Manage group consolidation across multiple entities, with attention to intercompany entries and the elimination of balances between legal entities (CNPJs)
- Apply IFRS 16 requirements, monitoring right-of-use assets, leases, amortization, and remeasurements
- Support external audits by preparing documentation, responding to requests, and coordinating quarterly and annual audit activities
- Provide support to the Controllership and FP&A teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and active CRC registration (Regional Accounting Council)
- Knowledge of finance and accounting routines
- Strong technical accounting understanding (main fiscal and legal impacts)
- Experience with accounting/financial systems is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Brazilian accounting standards and international standards (IFRS)
- Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
