About the role

  • Engineering role defining CAD standards with Siemens NX and enhancing engineering workflows. Collaborating across teams while mentoring others in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • **TASKS YOU WILL PERFORM 🎯**
  • Define and document CAD standards using Siemens NX, including templates and best practices.
  • Develop workflows for managing CAD data (NX) within Teamcenter PLM systems.
  • Integrate CAD tools (NX, CATIA V5 and Multi‑CAD) with Teamcenter PLM systems and resolve issues raised.
  • Organize mentoring sessions and create user documentation.
  • Verify the accuracy of generated models and compliance with standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, IT teams and Siemens.
  • Analyze, identify and propose improvements to engineering processes tailored to internal needs.
  • Participate in workshops to gather requirements and user stories.
  • Interact with different parts of the engineering organization to ensure adoption of the proposed solutions.

Requirements

  • **YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS 💎**
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering and more than 5 years of relevant experience with Siemens NX.
  • Proficiency in Siemens NX and CATIA V5 CAD software.
  • Solid knowledge of GD&T/PMI and engineering standards.
  • Good overall understanding of PLM principles and experience with Teamcenter.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to train or mentor others.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Strong analytical, planning and problem‑solving skills.
  • Familiarity with aerospace development (an asset).
  • This position requires an organized individual with leadership skills who can work with minimal supervision.
  • Must have a logical and flexible approach.
  • Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to understand how CAD project details fit into the overall PLM.
