About the role

  • Intern supporting marketing and community management at SofaConcerts, a music startup. Managing social media and assisting in various marketing activities with an international community.

Responsibilities

  • You will support us in managing our social media channels: Facebook, Instagram
  • Content/SEO marketing: you will manage our blog, independently write new posts, and proactively develop engaging topics for our international community
  • You will help develop new marketing campaigns with us and actively support planning and execution
  • You will review artist applications from around the world, scout new talent, provide feedback, and assist with quality management
  • You will handle inquiries and requests from our community and support communications

Requirements

  • Your studies: Business Administration / Media Studies / Journalism / Cultural and Communication Studies — career changers also welcome
  • You are available for 4–6 months and must complete a required internship as part of your studies
  • Prior practical experience in marketing/communications (e.g., an internship) is an advantage but not required
  • More important is that you love social media and follow the latest trends
  • Confident writing style. Experience writing and/or creating SEO articles (e.g., for a student newspaper or blog) is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and a confident presence: you can develop ideas independently and persuade others
  • A sense of humor and a creative mindset
  • You enjoy helping our community with questions and practical support

Benefits

  • A young, motivated team where you take on responsibility from day one and can contribute your ideas
  • A contribution toward living expenses
  • The opportunity to make an impact and actively contribute to growth
  • We are all passionate about bringing a smile to people's faces through music
  • Varied tasks and the opportunity to try new things and grow professionally
  • A small, close-knit team where every individual is seen and appreciated
  • Our office is in the heart of Hamburg near Sternschanze — not only a great team but also fantastic office neighbors
  • Remote work possible
  • You'll be at the source of great music and can regularly attend SofaConcerts in the office, at team members' homes, or be on the guest list for other concerts by our artists
