Responsibilities

  • Support multidisciplinary teams in transforming concepts into reality
  • Provide necessary tools, processes, and support to peers
  • Focus on researching, designing, developing, testing, certifying, deploying, and improving products and services
  • Collaborate with program management, design engineers, quality assurance, and production teams
  • Apply manufacturing technologies and best practices throughout the product lifecycle

Requirements

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in related engineering discipline
  • typically 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • Basic understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools
  • Conceptual knowledge of engineering principles and practices
  • Familiarity working in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Familiarity in applying and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
  • Knowledge of industry standard design principles
  • Familiarity with work instruction/traveler development
  • Participation in dispositions of Non-Conformance generation through a Material Review Board (MRB)
  • Experience with new product introduction and transition to production
  • Exposure to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems
