About the role
- Principal Business & System Process Analyst leading the design and automation of business processes at Fidelity. Collaborating with teams to assess and optimize workflows for efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise and domain-level business process assessments to identify opportunities for modernization, simplification, and automation.
- Conduct structured requirements elicitation and develop detailed artifacts including business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps.
- Analyze current-state workflows, identify bottlenecks and failure modes, and design future-state processes leveraging enterprise technologies.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to build business and technical sequence flows and end-to-end journey maps that reflect both user and system interactions.
- Develop business cases, benefit analyses, KPIs, and measurement frameworks to quantify value and track operational outcomes.
- Support delivery through UAT planning, scenario design, validation of implemented workflows, and continuous feedback loops with product and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, process design, continuous improvement, or product strategy/consulting.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional process transformation initiatives.
- Experience designing or delivering automation using RPA, BPM, low-code/no-code, or workflow orchestration technologies is a strong plus.
