About the role

Responsibilities
- Interface role between Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing and Sales, focusing on consistent, audience-appropriate communication
- Management and further development of integrations with external hotel systems
- Collecting and analyzing product usage and market data to make informed decisions and maintain a competitive advantage
- Creating product concepts, translating them into designs, and overseeing technical implementation through testing and feedback loops
- Collaborating with your team members, other departments and management to set priorities for product increments
- Responsibility for the product lifecycle of features and projects from conception to successful launch
- Consistently prioritizing competing demands
- Conducting user testing remotely and on-site with our customers
- Monitoring product KPIs
- Regular competitor analysis
Requirements
- Full proficiency in English and German (min. C1)
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a Product Manager in an agile environment, preferably in a B2B SaaS startup
- Ideally knowledge of the hotel or tourism industry
- Experience with API/integration development
- Hands-on experience working with databases, particularly PostgreSQL
- Ideally programming skills in Python and experience with own projects using generative AI tools (experience in machine learning is a plus)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Passion for easy-to-use products — excellent UI/UX design is central to Smart Host
- Affinity for data-driven decision making
