About the role

  • Product Owner at Scopevisio AG driving product strategy and development in cloud-based software. Collaborating with teams to enhance business processes and customer experience in the retail sector.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maximizing product value and steering product development using KPIs/OKRs
  • Hold product-related decision-making authority for product development and enforce prioritization of requirements in line with the product strategy
  • Define and implement the product vision and strategy for the POS area in coordination with stakeholders
  • Conduct product discovery and derive improvements and new features
  • Analyze market trends in the retail/POS environment and derive strategic input
  • Create and prioritize user stories, maintain the product backlog, and develop the product roadmap
  • Coordinate releases and ensure high-quality, timely deliveries
  • Work closely with Development, UX/UI, QA and DevOps to ensure usability and stability
  • Act as an interface between customers, Sales, Support and Development and perform acceptance and validation of features
  • Continuously improve team collaboration by participating in retrospectives

Requirements

  • Several years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a comparable role in a software environment
  • Solid knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and common tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Basic technical understanding of software development and system architectures
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to translate complex requirements into clear user stories
  • Structured, independent and results-oriented working style
  • Basic knowledge of the POS domain (e.g., point-of-sale systems, integration with ERP/inventory management) (nice-to-have)
  • Understanding of processes in brick-and-mortar retail (nice-to-have)
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., TSE, GoBD) (nice-to-have)
  • Experience with interfaces, payment or loyalty systems, and omnichannel approaches (nice-to-have)
