About the role

  • Account Executive responsible for B2B software sales, managing account development and client relationships in Hamburg. Collaborating across teams to ensure successful client solutions and project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for new and existing customer business, qualify relevant B2B opportunities and manage deals strategically through to closing
  • You advise clients as an equal partner and translate strategic goals into compelling use cases and proposal narratives for digital solutions
  • You build strong relationships with decision-makers and specialist departments and position slashwhy as a long-term partner
  • You proactively manage your pipeline, keep forecasts in HubSpot reliably up to date and ensure commitment in the sales process
  • You use market and customer feedback to continuously sharpen messaging, positioning and sales approaches
  • You work closely with Marketing, UX and Delivery to ensure a consistent go-to-market execution
  • You contribute as an experienced sparring partner within the team and strengthen slashwhy’s professional external presence

Requirements

  • Solid experience in B2B sales
  • Ideally in a consultative or solution-oriented environment (e.g. digital agency, consulting, SaaS/tech)
  • You take ownership of your funnel and drive opportunities consistently to a decision
  • Confident management of sales cycles: you handle complex sales cycles with ease from discovery to close — including at executive/decision-maker level
  • Understanding of digital topics: you have a strong grasp of digital products, processes, UX/design and transformation
  • You work in a structured way, use CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot) professionally and are confident in proposal and pitch processes
  • You communicate fluently in German and English and enjoy working across locations (Osnabrück, Hamburg, Kiel)
