About the role
- Security Services role supporting security protocols and monitoring at the Avionics Complex. Responsibilities include visitor processing, personnel escorting, and compliance adherence.
Responsibilities
- Support and enforce security protocols as directed by the Government Customer.
- Assist security managers by receiving and processing visitors to ensure they meet all security requirements.
- Escorting non-cleared personnel into the Avionics Complex, ensuring they are monitored and do not access restricted areas.
- Ensure all security protocols are followed, including verifying clearances and ensuring that non-cleared personnel do not have access to sensitive information.
- Other Security related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education High School Diploma or GED
- Experience Experience is preferred but not required in the following skills: working as a security assistant/monitor, escorting uncleared personnel, monitoring entry/exit doors, turnstiles, and automated gates for malfunctions.
- License, Cert or Registration Ability to obtain and retain Security Clearance. Must have a valid state driver’s license when required by job assignment. Must obtain a valid government driver’s license when required by job assignment. Must obtain a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) to include hazardous material endorsement when required by job assignment. Must obtain the level of Industrial Security Clearance required by the Government.
- Special knowledge, skills, & abilities Must be able to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time. Must be physically able to perform duties and responsibilities of the classification. Must be able to work with required materials without debilitating irritation to skin, eyes or respiratory system while wearing the required personal protective equipment.
