Graphic Designer creating video and motion content for climate protection campaigns with co2online. Involves design concepts and multimedia production for various platforms.
Responsibilities
You implement co2online’s corporate design visually and create materials for our campaigns, projects and communication channels.
You contribute to design concepts related to climate protection, sustainable living and climate adaptation.
You develop videos and animations — from concept through storyboarding and scripting to editing and post-production (primarily for YouTube and Instagram, and potentially TikTok).
You provide creative guidance for in‑house productions (photo, video, social media) and ensure quality control during editing.
You design layouts and graphics for online and print media (e.g., campaign materials, infographics, social‑media templates).
You create templates for teams (e.g., in Canva) and support the graphic evolution of our visual identity.
You work interdisciplinary with editorial, social media and project teams.
You represent our Art Director during vacations and sick leave.
Requirements
Degree or vocational training in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Media Design or Motion Design
At least 3 years of professional experience in an agency, NGO, company or as a freelancer
Confident use of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Figma
Experience with AI solutions in common Adobe applications or willingness to develop skills in this area
Understanding of design systems and brand identity, with a commitment to clearly presenting complex topics
Experience in video editing and storytelling for social media (Reels, Shorts, Stories, etc.)
Experience with print design and presentation templates (Word/PowerPoint)
Basic knowledge of Canva or willingness to learn it
Fluent spoken and written German
Proactive and independent working style with high quality standards and strong attention to detail
Team player, creative and enthusiastic about visual communication
