About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead the Diesels Multi-Disciplinary Team consisting of building architects, engineers, schedulers, cost/quality managers, civil construction, MEH (Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC) fitout, partnering with Tier 1 supply chain contractors.
- Regularly collaborate with supply chain managers, diesel contract project managers, commissioning, site operations, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Develop an integrated and constructable schedule to mitigate risks to on-site construction and installation activities.
- Anticipate, manage, and resolve area-specific issues, identify risks, and escalate critical matters to the Senior Project Manager as needed.
- Develop effective delivery strategies to mitigate cost and schedule challenges, harmonious with Sizewell C’s ‘best for Project mindset’.
Requirements
- Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary design and procurement teams, ensuring delivery milestones are met.
- Background in mechanical, electrical, process, systems, or civil engineering—preferably within large industrial plant environments.
- Construction Design Management (CDM), civil construction/engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of major project complexities, including cross‑functional interface management.
- Significant experience leading pre‑tender and tender activities for the design, manufacturing, and/or installation of industrial equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively with both clients and contractors.
