About the role

  • Project Management Intern at iA Financial Group supporting project planning and performance enhancement initiatives. Involvement in real projects and development opportunities in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in project planning, monitoring, and coordination (objectives, deliverables, risks, timelines, dashboards, tracking tools, governance meetings, etc.)
  • Take charge of certain departmental projects and support efforts to enhance the performance of the business system
  • Document partner needs, clarify expectations, and produce structured analyses to support decision‑making
  • Prepare various deliverables such as meeting minutes, presentations, tracking templates, and other working documents
  • Identify operational pain points, analyze root causes, and recommend solutions to optimize existing processes
  • Collaborate closely with partners, users, team members, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Apply project management, Lean, and continuous improvement principles in daily activities

Requirements

  • Currently completing a master’s degree in project management, business administration, engineering, or any related field
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with partners at various organizational levels
  • Strong interest in project management, collaboration, and problem-solving
  • Demonstrates curiosity, autonomy, rigor, and strong analytical thinking
  • Knowledge of Lean/Agile principles (an asset)
