Responsibilities
Lead the Equipment Integrated Team (ITBE) and oversee the delivery of all design activities for the Hinkley Point C project
Responsible for managing detailed design, post-design engineering, and supplier engagement for Nuclear Island Equipment contracts across Units 1 & 2
Ensure technical integration, design configuration management, and support through manufacturing, delivery, construction, and commissioning phases
Play a key role in maintaining safety, quality, and design maturity while driving performance to meet time and cost targets
Requirements
Proven ability to lead the delivery of safety, quality, schedule, cost, and design maturity targets across equipment contracts
Experience managing post-delivery engineering activities and resolving technical issues with a best-for-project mindset
Strong stakeholder management skills, acting as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operations across internal and external teams
Collaborative approach to working with international teams across France and Germany to coordinate engineering scope
Confidence managing risks and opportunities, and reporting progress across a multi-disciplinary integrated team
Experience managing budgets of £5–10 million annually, with awareness of project change control processes
Leadership experience in building and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on skills growth and resource planning
Participation in senior leadership teams, contributing to strategic direction and cross-functional coordination
