About the role
- Head of Engineering responsible for technical strategies in Agri-PV projects at feld energy. Leading the development of technology and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the overall technical strategy and the continued development of our Agri‑PV solutions.
- From planning through operation, you ensure the technical quality, economic viability, and scalability of our projects.
- As a technical sparring partner, you work closely with founders, operations, EPC partners, and external stakeholders.
- You develop, establish, and continuously optimize technical standards, processes, and tools.
- You are responsible for leading and further developing the engineering team.
- You proactively assess new technologies, regulatory requirements, and market trends and derive concrete actions.
- You make well-founded decisions on complex technical issues and create clear guardrails for operational activities.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a comparable field.
- Several years of experience in technical leadership and/or senior roles within PV, Agri‑PV, energy infrastructure, or EPC.
- Proven in-depth technical experience with solar tracker systems and mounting structures.
- Solid understanding of PV systems, grid connections, permitting processes, and technical standards.
- Experience in building and scaling technical structures and teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, strong decision-making ability, and a hands‑on attitude.
- Excellent German and English skills.
