About the role

  • Logistics Manager leading the logistics team and optimizing processes for order fulfilment. Overseeing transportation operations and ensuring efficient service to stakeholders in a hybrid workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all transportation operations, including scheduling, tracking, and coordinating domestic and international shipments.
  • Manage relationships, negotiate tariffs, and select carriers and 3PL partners.
  • Develop and execute 3PL and transportation strategies in collaboration with senior supply chain leadership.
  • Ensure accurate documentation for customs, imports/exports, and daily shipping activity.
  • Monitor shipment status, delivery performance, and compliance with service-level expectations.
  • Evaluate and approve freight rates, invoices, and related costs; identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain logistics KPIs, analyze transportation data, and implement process improvements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams—including order management, project management, and installation—to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Resolve transportation, customer, and carrier issues promptly.
  • Supervise and train logistics staff to meet accuracy, productivity, and timeliness goals.
  • Maintain customer records and reconcile carrier-related deductions or refunds.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • You have at least 5 years of relevant experience working in transportation, logistics or a related field within a supervisory or management capacity
  • You have excellent mathematical and analytical skills
  • You have excellent computer skills including MS Office
  • You have a strong understanding of supply chain and logistics
  • You can prioritize and effectively meet deadlines
  • You enjoy number crunching and solving complex problems
  • You enjoy mentoring and nurturing talent
