About the role
- Data Analyst in the compliance team at Sicredi, gathering and analyzing business data. Responsibilities include monitoring trends and enhancing data processes.
Responsibilities
- Collect, organize and analyze business data to produce monitoring that identifies trends, patterns and anomalies
- Drive continuous improvement of existing monitoring processes, proposing new items to monitor and new monitoring rules and thresholds
- Build workflows and pipelines to make monitoring results available
- Prepare executive reports and dashboards on the area’s processes
- Understand problems and propose solutions involving technologies, automation and AI
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Programming logic
- Statistical analysis and data modeling
- Source code version control (GitLab)
- Experience with Databricks and data visualization
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, Business Administration or related fields
- Knowledge of PySpark (preferred)
- Experience with SAS Guide, Power BI and Denodo (preferred)
- Prior experience in financial institutions in Internal Controls, AML/CFT, Compliance, Risk Management or Audit (preferred)
- Skills in process mapping, risk identification, and implementing and improving internal controls (preferred)
- Experience implementing projects/systems (preferred)
