About the role

  • Account Executive driving sales growth across Shippit’s logistics and fleet management solutions. Responsible for acquiring and developing new business with retailers, couriers, and logistics providers.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure, ensuring a strong and sustainable pipeline.
  • Identify and convert businesses in need of fleet management solutions, increasing Shippit’s presence across key industries.
  • Consult with logistics, operations, and fleet managers to understand their challenges and position Shippit as a strategic solution.
  • Lead commercial discussions, craft compelling proposals, and secure long-term contracts with prospective clients.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to refine go-to-market strategies and customer engagement.
  • Stay up to date with logistics and fleet management trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting through CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas, driving revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Proven B2B sales experience as an Account Executive in the order fulfilment/management, logistics, WMS or ERP space.
  • Understanding of the retail and eCommerce industry, including logistics and fulfillment challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong negotiation abilities, with a focus on value-driven sales and differentiation.
  • A collaborative and proactive team player with a positive attitude.
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and processes efficiently.
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Salesforce CRM.
