About the role

Responsibilities
- Support the sales team with customer inquiries by providing in-depth technical advice on-site
- Assist with customer-specific configurations and the development of tailored customer solutions
- Conduct instrument demonstrations at the Shimadzu application lab and at customer sites
- Train customers on system and software operation following successful installation
- Handle after-sales support confidently and independently
- Develop market- or customer-specific applications to grow existing accounts and acquire new ones
- Document activities in the CRM system
- Provide project feasibility assessments during forecast meetings
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in the LC‑MS field
- Degree in a natural science or completed engineering (FH) or technician training with a practical focus in instrumental analysis (LC‑MS, Q‑TOF, MALDI)
- Experience in problem analysis and independently developing solution approaches
- Solid knowledge of chromatography and mass spectrometry
- Experience conducting trainings and developing applications
- Proficient MS Office skills
- Professional communication skills in German and English
- Valid driving license (Class B)
- Willingness to travel up to 80%
