About the role
- Application Architect managing SAP Master Data Governance system responsibilities and stakeholder coordination. Defining standards, implementing solutions, and guiding internal and external developers.
Responsibilities
- Application responsibility for the master data management system based on SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)
- Align system and application architecture with integration and enterprise architecture and relevant IT stakeholders
- Define, govern and advance interface and integration requirements, including establishing standards and best practices in the MDG environment
- Coordinate and manage internal and external developers in implementing functional and technical requirements, including quality assurance of implemented solutions
- Design and implement selected custom developments in the SAP MDG environment (e.g., ABAP, BRF+, enhancements/BAdIs)
Requirements
- Degree in (business) informatics / computer science or equivalent qualification
- Several years of practical experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), ideally in an architecture, solution-design, or lead role
- Solid knowledge of master data objects and their business contexts (e.g., Business Partner, Material Master)
- Experience implementing and performing functional and technical customizing of processes in SAP MDG
- Understanding of end-to-end processes and integration of MDG into heterogeneous system landscapes, including common interface technologies (e.g., web services, IDocs, SAP CPI)
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
