About the role
- Water Network Technician ensuring effective operation of the distribution Network at Severn Trent. Involved in leakage reduction and managing customer and network issues.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the effective operation of the distribution Network
- Involved in several daily activities for leakage reduction, pressure management, and continuous improvements of assets
- Take ownership of network and customer issues
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Improve customer experience to prevent complaints
- Manage and enhance both internal and external relationships
- Deliver activities within allocated DMA’s including leakage reduction
- Identify mitigation measures to reduce Water Quality complaints
- Promote asset investment requirements and record details on the companies risk management database
Requirements
- Proven experience in clean water network operations, including leakage detection and mains camera inspections
- National Water Hygiene certification
- Qualified in Street Works signing, lighting, and guarding
- Additional qualifications such as valving training and IOSH certification are essential
