Responsibilities
- Delivering on project KPIs across a portfolio of large capital engineering and construction water treatment projects
- Playing a key role to make sure projects stay on track, are delivered on time and within cost
- Managing the quality of the project
- Leading a project engineer or an assistant project manager in the delivery of the programme
- Managing several projects at any one time, in line with risk mitigation processes
- Financially tracking progress whilst managing budgets
- Collaborating with in-house design engineers, external design consultants and delivery partners, PMO and Commercial teams
Requirements
- Degree qualified in a project, construction or technical engineering discipline
- Qualified or working towards a professional membership such as IMechE
- Appropriate transferable experience considered
- Forward thinking and innovative Project Manager
- Experience handling multiple multi-million pound capital engineering and construction projects using a gated project delivery process
- Accredited NEC3 or NEC4 Project Manager or extensive experience of managing projects under NEC3 or NEC4 Conditions of Contract
- Proven track record of cost planning, management, and budgetary responsibility
- Awareness of CDM
