About the role

  • Supporting the project management and coordination aspect of our Biodiversity programme\n• Developing and completing work plans\n• Liaising with partners\n• Ensuring that project goals and targets are met\n• Overseeing timely project implementation\n• Formulating budgets\n• Using results-based management/reporting\n• Undertaking multiple tasks\n• Confirming objectives and planned benefits of the projects\n• Supporting the development of the project delivery strategy\n• Developing financial/budget controls\n• Ensuring risks are understood and mitigated successfully\n• Regularly communicating with and managing stakeholders\n• Liaising and negotiating with any internal or external party of partner as required\n• Coordinating and distributing responsibilities within the team\n• Organising monitoring tracking system of all components of the project\n• Facilitating the creation of processes and guidance to enhance the status of Biodiversity\n• Assessing the progress in relation to plan and monitoring the cost and budget performance\n• Implementing appropriate control processes\n• Ensuring that Severn Trent Water is recognised as a high-profile champion, steward and leader for the natural environment\n• Identifying and reporting on the success of the enhancements and providing quantifiable evidence as to a project’s success

Requirements

  • Understanding of the water industry\n• Periodic review process knowledge\n• An honours degree in Management, Geography, Environmental Science, Ecology or other related field\n• Full current UK driving licence
