About the role
- Product Manager overseeing global product management for hoses and technical consulting for international customers. Collaborating across R&D, production, and sales for product development and market opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for global product management in the industrial hoses segment
- Technical consultation for international customers and support in selecting the appropriate Semperit products for their applications
- Analysis of market and industry trends to identify new product ideas and initiate corresponding development projects
- Management and development of the product portfolio, including product hygiene, phase-out and optimization of existing solutions
- Close collaboration with internal interfaces such as R&D, Production, Logistics, Sales and Customer Service
- Alignment of technical specifications and initiation of necessary changes to products or processes both internally and externally
- Contribution to innovations and business development by identifying new product–market combinations (PMCs) and market opportunities
- Global customer contacts – virtually and occasionally on-site
Requirements
- Completed technical education (HTL, FH, TU) or comparable qualification
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an industrial environment – ideally with rubber/plastic products or in the industrial hoses sector
- Strong technical understanding and a hands-on mentality
- Analytical and structured working style as well as a strong willingness to learn
- Pronounced customer orientation and enjoyment of international collaboration
- Very good German and English language skills; additional languages are an advantage
- Confident user of MS Office – SAP desirable
- Willingness to undertake occasional international travel
