About the role

  • Deputy Head of Technology driving the technical vision and coaching leaders across hotel locations. Ensuring sustainability and quality in hotel facilities management.

Responsibilities

  • Technical coaching: You mentor and train our Technical Managers on site at the hotels, strengthen their technical skills by demonstrating best practice and promote a modern way of working.
  • Project management: In addition to planning and overseeing renovation and refurbishment projects, you confidently lead construction/site meetings directly at the properties.
  • Compliance management: You take central responsibility for monitoring expert inspections (SV) and ensure that defects are consistently and promptly rectified.
  • Interface communication: You work in close coordination with the Head of Technical, act as the technical point of contact for the General Managers and serve as the bridge to the owners and our Sustainability (CSR) team.
  • Cost-effectiveness: You review quotations with a cost-benefit perspective, actively support hotel management in budget planning and keep economic aspects in view at all times.
  • Authorities management: You competently and confidently represent our interests with municipalities, authorities or insurers.

Requirements

  • Several years of hands-on operational experience in hotel engineering or facility/building management
  • Experience working within complex organizational structures
  • Initial experience in technical leadership of teams or external service providers
  • Confident user of MS Office and open to working with modern tools
  • Strong communication and assertiveness
