Responsibilities
- Drive technology initiatives and shape the future of health IT solutions
- Evaluate current technologies, vendors, and processes to identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop and implement technology strategies aligned with the division's goals and objectives
- Provide expert guidance on the design, development, and deployment of health IT systems
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align technology initiatives
- Manage technology introductions and integration of solutions
- Develop and execute the go-to-market plan within Federal Health landscape
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 10+ years of in-depth knowledge of federal health IT systems, standards, and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FISMA)
- Firm knowledge across and experience in several areas: Cloud Computing, Enterprise IT, Managed Services, Cybersecurity, Software Application Development, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science
- Experience working with Federal Health agencies
- Demonstrated experience deploying technologies like Infrastructure, Cloud, Artificial Intelligence and their importance to Federal Health Technologies, Sciences, and Systems
- Demonstrated experience decomposing Federal Health customer problems
- Experience developing and integrating emerging commercial technologies to meet Government security requirements (e.g., NIAP, NIST, CSfC)
- DevSecOps experience deploying cloud and hybrid-cloud solutions with automation, containerization, and Kubernetes technologies
- Experience supervising and mentoring technical staff
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, unstructured environment
