About the role

  • Payroll Manager responsible for client payroll management and compliance. Collaborating with teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery at SD Worx in Bayonne.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the OPS Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for one or more of our clients in the delivery of monthly payroll (from entering variable pay elements through to reporting).
  • Perform, within your scope, payroll preparation, data entry, and payslip checks using the established control methods and dedicated tools.
  • Enter and verify final settlement (STC) information and produce legal documents (receipt for final settlement, France Travail certificate, work certificate, etc.).
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the collective agreements and labor contracts applicable to the client(s) managed.
  • Contribute to SD Worx reporting (metrics for billing, dashboards, and other service monitoring indicators).
  • Support the client with change requests and ensure that configuration changes have been implemented following development tests, in coordination with support and enhancement teams.
  • Respond to client queries within your scope and organize regular production meetings (on a schedule agreed with the client) with an agenda and written minutes.
  • Monitor regulatory requirements and payroll-related deadlines.

Requirements

  • Payroll administration qualification
  • Minimum 4 years' professional experience in payroll
  • Active listening and ability to analyze client needs
  • Adaptability and autonomy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Initiative, with the ability to assist and resolve issues
  • Experience managing special employee cases (expatriate/impatriate, redundancy/redeployment, transactional final settlements (STC), labor tribunal cases, etc.)
  • Ability to manage your own schedule (payroll-related deadlines)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proficiency with DSN (Déclaration Sociale Nominative) and its regularizations (able to refer to the technical specifications)
  • Oversight and coordination of the payroll administrators in the team
  • Ability to document and process your files
  • Support and training of colleagues
  • Facilitation of the monthly production committee
  • Professional working proficiency in English
