About the role

  • Management Accountant supporting financial reporting and stewardship of public funds at Scottish Public Pensions Agency. Ensuring quality financial information for decision-making and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • provision of high quality monthly financial reports
  • provide financial advice and assistance to stakeholders
  • contribute to corporate financial exercises and quality assurance
  • assist in maintaining overall financial control
  • ensuring adequate financial controls and clear audit trails

Requirements

  • part CCAB qualified (or equivalent) or have extensive financial expertise
  • willingness to work towards attaining professional qualification
  • enhanced analytical skills using a variety of tools
  • working with data in finance - practitioner
  • understanding of costing, forecasting and budgeting guidance - working
  • communicate and influence effectively
