About the role
- Senior Consultant advising top public sector clients on digitalization and SAP solutions. Leading project teams as Lead Consultant in various public sector projects.
Responsibilities
- Advise top public sector clients (especially universities, large research institutions, and federal/state administrations) on digitalizing their processes and implementing modern SAP solutions (cloud, hybrid, on-premise)
- (Technical) leadership of project teams as part of project management / Lead Consultant
- Project work as Senior Consultant / Lead Consultant in SAP Public Sector Management for implementing modern SAP S/4HANA solutions following SAP Activate (Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize / Test, Deploy, Run)
- Further development of the Scheer solution portfolio in SAP Public Sector Management (SAP AI / Machine Learning solutions, SAP Signavio reference processes, Scheer S/4HANA Master, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), etc.)
- Subject-matter lead for SAP Public Sector Management at Scheer GmbH
- Project acquisition (proposal preparation, effort estimation, proposal presentations, etc.)
- Training and coaching of junior colleagues
Requirements
- Practical professional or project experience in the public sector—ideally in higher education / large research institutions as well as federal / state administrations
- Several years' experience (> 5 years) in implementing / further developing and/or operating / supporting SAP solutions (ERP / S/4HANA on-premise, S/4HANA Public Cloud) in the area of SAP budget and third-party funding management

- University degree in Business Administration, (Business) Informatics, or a comparable field
