About the role

  • Senior Manager leading SAP platform & technical services for Resideo Technologies. Ensuring operational stability, performance, and security in SAP landscapes with cloud transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Own end‑to‑end availability, performance, and reliability of SAP platforms.
  • Lead SAP Basis and platform operations, including monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning, transports, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Ensure 24x7 operational stability with strong incident, problem, and change management.
  • Lead and develop cross‑functional technical teams (Basis, ABAP, integrations, security/GRC, application support).
  • Define and manage SLAs, KPIs, and accountability across all technical services.
  • Maintain and optimize the SAP ECC (EHP7) landscape.
  • Manage technical risk related to obsolete components, patching limits, custom code, and technical debt.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead SAP Cloud and S/4HANA strategy and roadmap, including technical readiness.
  • Drive key transformation workstreams: architecture, data migration, technical conversion, clean‑core remediation.
  • Partner with business and architecture teams to design scalable, future‑proof solutions.
  • Oversee all SAP integrations and data flows (EDI, IDocs, middleware, external partners).
  • Ensure resilient, monitored, and traceable business transaction processing.
  • Own SAP security and compliance, including access controls, SoD, audits, and cybersecurity alignment.
  • Manage vendors and partners, ensuring SLA performance, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver success through high availability, fewer incidents, faster delivery, reduced technical debt, and strong security posture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years SAP experience with strong technical foundation across: Basis / platform operations, ABAP and custom development lifecycle, Integrations (IDoc, EDI, APIs, middleware), SAP Security / GRC.
  • Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary, geographically dispersed technical teams.
  • Experience managing complex SAP ECC landscapes.
  • Strong understanding of S/4HANA architecture and migration approaches.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and SAP hosting models.
  • Experience of migrating on-premise SAP solutions to cloud platforms.
  • Vendor management and outsourced service delivery experience.
  • Advanced verbal and written English communication skills.
