About the role

  • Sales Manager in Managed Services responsible for cloud transformation and long-term customer relationship development. Focused on acquiring new customers in cloud service projects across various German cities.

Responsibilities

  • Sales responsibility
  • Responsibility for the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing Managed Services contracts.
  • Strategic expansion of existing customer relationships with the objective of retaining them as long-term clients and continuously growing the business.
  • Acquisition of new customers with a focus on cloud-based services and S/4HANA transformation projects.
  • Coordination and delivery of customer presentations, workshops and contract negotiations.
  • Offer and solution development
  • Development and placement of customer-specific proposals in the context of cloud readiness checks and assessments, S/4 transitions, system and service migrations, application support, cloud operations (e.g., on hyperscalers), license maintenance and licensing advisory.
  • Collaboration in the development of services and operating models in close cooperation with Service Delivery Management and IT strategy.
  • Market and customer understanding
  • Analysis of market trends and customer requirements in the area of cloud and managed services.
  • Advising on cloud contract models such as “RISE with SAP” and “GROW with SAP” as strategic instruments for revenue generation and customer retention in the SAP environment.
  • Strategic objectives
  • Positioning as a cloud partner: You will contribute to establishing the company as a trusted and competent cloud transformation partner in the market.
  • Transformation from traditional services to cloud services: You will support our customers in replacing classic support and operations models with future-oriented, cloud-based operating models.
  • Revenue growth through new business models: You will leverage cloud contract models (RISE/GROW) to unlock new revenue potential and modernize the service portfolio for the long term.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of sales experience in an IT or managed services environment, ideally with a cloud focus.
  • Solid understanding of cloud technologies, SAP S/4HANA, transformation roadmaps and operating models.
  • Strong intuition for customer needs and the ability to develop convincing solutions based on those insights.
  • Excellent communication and closing skills, and confidence in interacting at C-level.
