Responsibilities
Shape the planning process: You take on the coordinative and conceptual responsibility for planning, drive the further development of the planning process and the planning system (Jedox), and align them for the future.
Manage forecasts and budgets: You advise and support the preparation and operational creation of forecasts, budgets and mid-term planning, optimizing structures and procedures in a solution-oriented manner.
Act as an international business partner: You support the foreign subsidiaries, monitor results and costs, identify patterns and variances, and ensure transparent, targeted reporting.
Drive analyses: You independently perform evaluations, contribute your own ideas and proactively implement improvements as soon as you identify potential.
Develop controlling further: Together with the team you work on the further development and ongoing implementation of profit and cost controlling, particularly for the foreign subsidiaries.
Optimize reporting: You contribute to reports for management, shareholders and the advisory board, prepare presentations and decision documents tailored to the audience, and use feedback to continuously improve quality.
Requirements
Successfully completed degree in economics with a focus on controlling/accounting or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in corporate controlling, ideally in an (omnichannel) retail company
Solid knowledge of HGB (German GAAP) and IFRS
Excellent user skills in MS Office and SAP (CO; ideally FI)
Experience using Jedox for planning and reporting
Good written and spoken English
Strong analytical thinking and a quick grasp of complex interrelationships
High level of commitment, persuasiveness and strong communication skills
