About the role

  • Manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and other financial reports to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and internal policies and procedures.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard the company's assets.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
  • In-charge in preparation of payroll.
  • Other duties may be assigned by the Managing Director.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • CPA or CMA certification is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar accounting manager or senior accounting role
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and best practices
  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
