About the role
- Project Regulatory Engineer at SBM Offshore ensuring adherence to global regulatory requirements. Collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless integration of regulatory standards throughout project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Support and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Group Functions, Engineering, Procurement, Operations, Construction, Commissioning Managers, Class, and external partners
- Produce and manage the FPSO Regulatory Matrix, ensuring all relevant regulations are tracked and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle
- Control the FPSO Regulatory Matrix on SBM’s Action Tracker and assist the project team in expediting late tasks to meet deadlines
- Carry out audits of regulatory plans across the locations and PMT activities to verify compliance and ensure proper regulatory management
- Review NCR (Non-Conformance Report) evidences provided on regulatory management, issue corrective actions of nonconformity reports, and facilitate the closure of these issues as required
- Manage the Regulatory Queries Register, ensuring all queries are tracked and resolved in a timely manner
- Act as the focal point for site regulatory queries, providing support and guidance on regulatory matters as needed
- Inform project personnel of their regulatory responsibilities, ensuring everyone understands and complies with relevant regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Naval Engineer
- 6 years experience in the offshore industry
- Fluent in English (writing and speaking)
